1.  For Those with Permanent Dentition

Consistency is the key to living without tooth-related interruptions to your schedule. Below are just a few dental treatment provided in our office:

2. For Children Between 6 month to 12 Years Old

Like their parents, children need professional dental exams and cleaning. X-rays are usually not needed until age 6 or if there is a problematic tooth that is needed to be treated.

  • The first well-baby visit to the dentists for children should begin at 6 month or when the first tooth appears.  Establishing regular dental visits at a young age prevents dental cavities in children since any sign of abnormalities will be caught early on.  Now there are ways to treat the early initial cavities without having to use the injection, the drill, and the filling. Silver Diamine Fluoride is one of the successful ways to do minimally invasive treatment of cavities.  Visiting the dentist for the first time because of tooth pain make traumatic dental memories.  In addition, this routine has been proven to improve the health and stability of adult teeth.

  • Proper oral hygiene habits are learned early.  As soon as your toddler can manage a toothbrush (24-30 months), supervised brushing instructions can create beneficial habits that last a lifetime.

  • Children under 6 should be supervised at all times as swallowing toothpaste can be harmful.
